Company Overview
Health Center of Southeast Texas is a Federally Qualified Health Center that can provide primary health care services to anyone, regardless of their financial income or insurance status. The organization has provided primary healthcare services for the past 12 years to predominately low-income individuals in our service area. The number of patients served doubled in the last 3 years and we are in the process of expanding our facilities to accommodate the growing demand. Our Medical Director was named the Physician of the Year by the Texas Academy of Family Physicians for 2013-2014 and the Country Doctor of the Year in 2016. She heads a clinical staff of 9 primary care providers.
Health Center of Southeast Texas has locations that are within commuting distance of Humble, Lufkin, Baytown, Houston, and Conroe. Our main clinic is in Cleveland, Texas located approximately 45 minutes north of downtown Houston on Hwy 59. Our other sites are located in Shepherd, Livingston and Liberty.
Health Center of Southeast Texas’ main goal is to address the cultural and financial barrier to behavioral health and healthcare access in Liberty, Polk, San Jacinto and adjacent counties by providing a sliding fee scale and community based primary care services.
