Your Role With Us:

Salem Health has opportunities for Advance Practice Providers to join our outpatient Primary Care teams. We offer a variety of practice locations where you will join a supportive practice where you will make a difference in the lives of those in our communities.  

  •  Full-time employed positions.
  • Set 4-Day schedule with weekends off.

Our patients receive comprehensive medical services through our robust Medical Group of more than 330 employed providers, including 20 specialties and advanced practice practitioners.  Salem Health Medical Group focuses on enhancing the patient experience and providing higher levels of care coordination. Salem is uniquely positioned geographically to serve a broad catchment area including metropolitan and rural communities and boasts active lifestyle opportunities unique to the Pacific Northwest.

You may be a qualified Physician Assistant candidate if you:

  • Have graduated from a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant or its predecessors. 
  • Have passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination and are certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
  • Current Physician Assistant license in good standing issued by the Oregon Medical Board.
  • Hold DEA certification.
  • Successful completion of the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination.
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

You may be a qualified Nurse Practitioner candidate if you:

  • Possess a Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing, or in a field deemed to be equivalent by the Oregon Board of Nursing.
  • Have satisfactorily completed a Nurse Practitioner Program recognized by the Oregon Board of Nursing.
  • Hold a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Oregon.
  • Hold valid, unencumbered Nurse Practitioner national certification issued American Nurses Credentialing Center or National Certification Corporation, or an equivalent Medicare/Medicaid approved certifying body or be actively seeking certification and obtain the same in the specialty area requested within 24 months of privileges being granted at Salem Hospital.
  • Hold DEA certification.
